Jessaca ~ LA Team Leader

I have been married for almost 10yrs, (anniversary is in May) I have two children, a daughter 9 and son 12. I work for a corporate law firm in downtown L.A. I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice and in June, I will complete a nonprofit management certificate course at UCLA Extension. I have been volunteering in the Los Angeles area for 2 years, mentoring at-risk youth, assisting high school and college students with building self-esteem, setting goals, resume preparation, and a host of skills that are necessary to navigate life. I am an outdoors type of person. I love going to the movies, park, museums, etc. I am always looking for fun and exciting things to do.

Lia ~ Inland Empire

Lia Freeman 25, was born and raised in the Inland Empire, At the age of 10 In 2000 her family opened the doors to “Lias Got Good Cense” a small business in San Bernardino CA which offers 100% natural products to the community. It was here where Lia saw the lack of direction and motivation in our youth and began dedicating her time both volunteering & professionally mentoring at-risk youth. Coming from a Bi-racial & bi lingual background she has used her ability to relate and connect to her entire community.

Lia’s desire to help others lead her to the Miss Plus America Pageant in 2013 and as Miss Inland Empire Plus America 2013 Lia was able to shine a positive light on her community. In 2014 Lia was crowned Miss California Plus America 2014 and in July will compete for the title Miss Plus America in Atlanta, Georgia. Lia serves her reign as Miss. California Plus America promoting her platform empowering inner city youth and supports Autism Awareness. She also educates others on self-love and self- acceptance.

In her spare time she enjoys baseball games, reading, the beach and all things Disney. She has an extensive background in public speaking, theater, music, as well as fashion and beauty and serves as a great role model for young girls. Lia is incredibly excited to be supporting MY GIRLS and looks forward to planting a seed and making a difference.
